About usIn 2015, Michael took up a new role in Dunedin while we were still living in Auckland.Trying to find a home from another city proved much harder than we expected. We couldn’t secure somewhere remotely, so Michael came to Dunedin first and arranged temporary accommodation while looking for a longer-term home.Even that temporary accommodation was difficult. Some places didn’t feel secure, privacy was limited, and finding somewhere reasonable for one person while getting established in a new city was harder than it should have been.That experience stayed with us, and it’s a big part of why we now offer the studio.It’s intended for people in a similar position. You might be starting a new role, working in Dunedin temporarily, waiting for your family to follow, or simply need somewhere dependable while your longer-term plans come together.Hana manages the studio and bookings, and Michael now works for Health NZ.The studio is privately owned and independent of Health NZ.
